How does a Swing Gate work?

 

·       Swing Gate has a push button console which is placed to operate it.

·       Kind of Access Control Systems, card reader systems, remote control systems can be connected to operate the swing gates.

·       Basically, the hydraulic power unit pumps hydraulic oil to the pistons and pistons pulling the gate leaf to open or pushing the gate leaf to close.

·       Electro mechanic actuators have warm gear mechanism to open and close the gate leaf.

·       In case of power failure; it is possible to open and close it. Most of swing gate mechanism has a clutch system to release motor from the gears. When the gears are released from motor, the gate can open or close easily with man power. If the system is hydraulic, there is manual hand pump.
